2. Accounts

3. Purchases & Payments

Subscriptions

• Managed website plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis
• Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you’ll continue to have access until then

Template & Digital Product Purchases

• All digital product sales are final unless the product is materially different from its description
• Templates are licensed for use on a single website unless otherwise stated
• You may not resell, redistribute, or share purchased templates

Custom Design Services

• Custom projects are governed by a separate service agreement
• Pricing, timelines, and deliverables are defined in the project proposal before work begins
• Deposits for custom work are non-refundable

Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Here’s how refunds work:

• Hosting subscriptions: You can cancel anytime. We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods
• Digital templates: Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue, contact us and we’ll make it right
• Custom design services: Deposits are non-refundable. Refund terms for ongoing projects are defined in your service agreement
• Managed website plans and build fees: Refunds on managed plans and build fees are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. In short, we refund your build fee in full if you change your mind before we start building, and you can cancel your plan at any time. Please read that policy, because it governs

4. Your Content

If you host a website with us or submit content to our site:

• You own your content. We don’t claim ownership of anything you create, upload, or publish on your hosted website
• Your domain is yours. We will never hold your domain name hostage. You always maintain ownership and control of your domain
• You grant us a limited license to host, display, and deliver your content as part of providing our services
• You’re responsible for ensuring your content doesn’t violate any laws or third-party rights

5. Our Content & Intellectual Property

Everything on myindieauthorsite.com, including our blog articles, designs, templates, logos, graphics, and website code, is owned by Mansfield Digital unless otherwise noted.

• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission
• Our blog content is free to read and share (with proper attribution and a link back to the original article)
• Templates purchased from us are licensed for your use. They are not transferred to you as intellectual property

6. Prohibited Uses

When using our site or services, you agree not to:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mansfield Digital’s total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

• Security breaches resulting from weak passwords or shared credentials on your part
• Downtime caused by circumstances beyond our control

9. Dispute Resolution

If we ever have a disagreement, here’s how we’ll handle it:

2. Mediation. If we can’t resolve it directly within 30 days, we’ll try mediation before any legal action
